Alpha Charter School senior Andrea Carranco was recently announced as an honorable mention selection to the University Interscholastic League Conference 2A Region 2 District 12 Girls’ Volleyball All-District Team. This is her second consecutive year to be selected by district coaches.
“I appreciate my teammates and coaches for the past two years,” Andrea said. “I thank the coaches for all of the hard work they put into getting the athletic program started”. “If it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t have won this award two years in a row”.
The head volleyball coach is Jim Polk. Athletic director is Daryl Osby and the head cross country and track coach is Clifton Rubin.
