Alpha Charter students compete in academic meet

From Dec. 7 to Dec. 15, Alpha Charter School District Academic Coordinator Brandon Barrier conducted the Second Virtual Academic Meet Competition of the season. Alpha Charter students competed against 36 Conference 2A schools across the state.

The following students competed:

Angel Hernandez (Placed 54th in 2A Individual Social Studies)

Christian Dominguez (Placed 25th overall in 2A Individual Computer Science and fourth among 10th grade in 2A Individual Computer Science)

Kameshia Actwood (Placed 81st in 2A Calculator Applications)

Horace Cox (Placed 14th in 2A Individual Current Issues and Events)

Sydney Lewis (Placed 49th overall and fifth among ninth grade in 2A Individual Computer Science and placed 54th overall and 10th among ninth Grade in Individual Literary Criticism).

March Hernandez (Placed fourth among ninth grade in 2A Biology)

Aaron Martinez (Placed 64th overall and fifth among ninth grade in 2A Individual Computer Science)

Christian Dominguez, Sydney Lewis and Aaron Martinez (Placed 10th in Team Computer Science)
