The Alpha Charter School Athletic Department announced a successful season conclusion of the sixth- and eighth-grade girls’ volleyball season. The team competed in the Texas Charter School Academic Athletic League (TCSAAL) North Texas Division 7 and finished with a 5-3 won/loss record overall in district play. The record earned the team second place and advancement to a tie-breaker game with Legacy Prep of Plano. This game resulted in a disappointing loss.
This season marked the second year of the program and the second straight year that the Lady Eagles have made the playoffs. The future looks bright.

Additionally, Daniel Barron finished ninth in the 1A Region 3 District 22 Cross Country Meet at Ray Roberts Lake and State Park Monday Oct. 17. He has now advanced to the Region 3 Cross Country Meet at Lynn Creek Park in Grand Prairie Oct. 29.
