Amanda L. Murdock graduates basic military training

Air Force Airman 1st Class Amanda L. Murdock graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

 Murdock earned distinction as an honor graduate.

 Murdock is the daughter of Debra and Gary Murdock of Cushing, Texas, and the granddaughter of Julia O. Boyd of Nacogdoches, Texas. She is the sister of Lindsay Murdock of Cushing, Texas, Joe Murdock of Garland, Texas, Clinton Murdock of Cushing, Texas, and Cristy Gatlin of Madisonville, Texas.
