For the second consecutive month, Classical Center at Brandenburg Middle School has claimed Jupiter Chevrolet’s Teacher of the Month title. Choir Director Breanne Strawn was surprised with a specially wrapped SUV Dec. 15.
“I am shaking. I do not even know what to say,” she exclaimed after being escorted out front by Principal Elise Mosty. “This was such a shock. I cannot believe it. I am super overwhelmed and humbled to even be recognized.”
Receiving the honor in front of her students, the group quickly piled in the car and began singing to the radio. Watch video from the surprise.
“She is energetic, fun and hard working,” commented Mosty. “She loves her kids and does her best every day.”
Strawn will drive the Chevrolet Equinox throughout Winter Break and the first few weeks of January. This prize comes after winning the Facebook contest with more than 50 nominations and 850 votes.
