Brookdale residents enjoy Rangers game

Apr. 12, 2016

A group of 137 Brookdale Senior Living residents enjoyed a Texas Rangers game at Globe Life Park in Arlington Wednesday, April 6. The residents were from 14 area Brookdale Senior Living Communities.

The Rangers were defeated by the Seattle Mariners by a final score of 9-5 but the seniors got to see pitching ace Colby Lewis. They were also treated to a Prince Fielder homerun. The Rangers had a 5-4 lead until the ninth inning when the Mariners came back and took the lead against relief pitcher Shawn Tolleson.

This was the first game that Brookdale resident and devoted Texas Rangers fan, Linda Gregory, has ever gotten to see in person and she loved cheering on her team at the ballpark.brookdale
