Air Force Airman 1st Class Cynthia Munzo graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Munzo is the wife of Jose Munoz and sister of Nataly Ruiz. She is also the daughter of Jose Banda of Garland and Beatriz Vazquez-Guerrero of Dallas and daughter-in-law of Pablo Ruiz of Dallas.
The airman graduated in 2008 from North Garland High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in 2014 from the University of Texas in Arlington.
