Deborah K. Fourzan completes basic training

Air Force Airman Deborah K. Fourzan graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Fourzan is the daughter of Crystal Vanbuskirk and step-daughter of Richard Vanbuskirk of Tecumseh, Okla. She is also the granddaughter of Robert and Virginia Hamilton of Garland and niece of Barbara and Walter Free of Copeville.

The airman graduated in 2012 from North Garland High School.
