Individuals interested in becoming a candidate in the May 9 Garland city elections must file between Jan. 28 and Feb. 27.
Elections for the office of Garland mayor and City Council Districts 3, 5, 7 and 8 will be held.
To file in person, go to the City Secretary’s Office, 200 North Fifth Street, Fourth Floor, downtown Garland.
To file by mail, send completed application to City Secretary’s Office, City of Garland, P.O. Box 469002, Garland, Texas 75046.
