U.S. Air Force Airman Elena J. Cordova graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Cordova is the daughter of Robert and Elena Cordova of Garland and sister of Robert Cordova of San Diego, Calif., Isabel Moya of Garland and Adam Cordova of Schertz, Texas. She is also the sister of Gabriela Cordova of Garland.
The airman graduated in 2012 from Garland High School.
