GPD asks for help to identify phone store robbery suspect

Jun. 17, 2015

Garland Police are asking for the public’s help to identify the man pictured below. On June 12, at around 3:45 p.m., a man walked into the Metro PCS store at 120 East Centerville Road and gave the clerk a robbery note.

He is described as a black male taller than six feet with a thin build.  Police believe he is the same man who robbed another Metro PCS store earlier this month.  Detectives say he also fits the suspect description in similar robberies that have recently happened in Richardson and Dallas.

If anyone recognizes this suspect they are asked to call Garland Crime Stoppers at 972-272-TIPS (8477) or visit online at www.garlandcrimestoppers.org.
