Garland police officers and paramedics responded to the 1400 block of Maple Drive just after midnight Feb. 6 when they received a report of a man who had been shot. Upon their arrival they found a man in his mid-20s suffering from a single gunshot wound. He was transported to Medical Center of Plano with a non- life- threatening wound.
A friend who was walking with the shooting victim said they were approached by three black males and robbed at gunpoint. During the robbery his friend was shot by one of the suspects. The three suspects were last seen driving away in a small dark car. Police are continuing their investigation in an effort to identify the suspects.
