Mr. Thomas was found in Cooke County Jan. 22 and has been reunited with his family.
GPD searching for missing elderly man

Garland police are searching for 87-year-old Roy Thomas who has been missing from his home in the 2700 block of Ripplewood Drive for up to eight hours.
He is driving a 2003 silver Ford Taurus with Texas handicap plates, 1CSJP. Police believe he may have been driving to the area of Arapaho Road and Highway 75 in Richardson.
Thomas has multiple medical problems requiring him to take medications every 12 hours. He wears glasses and is described as 5`9″l, 145 pounds, with gray hair and bald on top.
If anyone sees or knows the whereabouts of Roy Thomas they are asked to call the Garland Police Department.
