Runners and walkers at the Ghoulishly SpooktACTular 2015 ACTion Walk braved the rain to participate in the Achievement Center of Texas event that included a 5K run/walk and a 1K fun walk. Everyone enjoyed the day that also included entertainment by DJ Randy and Robert Berger, food and fun at Holford Recreation Center. Proceeds benefitted the students at ACT.
David and Sharon Parrish planned the event with the help of other volunteers and ACT staff members.

ACT has been serving Garland and the surrounding communities for 38 years. More than 25 of those years have been with the leadership of Executive Director Marilynne Serie.
