Since 2010, the goal of The Garland Texan has been to keep readers up-to-date on what’s going on in the community. All content has been, and will continue to be, freely accessible to readers, but we now offer a VOLUNTARY subscription program.
Those who look to The Garland Texan for news and information about our community now have the option to help support the effort. Readers can make a donation or make monthly payments through Paypal, choosing any amount they wish, not to exceed $300 per calendar year.
The maximum contribution ensures against any individual, group, business, etc. being construed as having influence over the truth and objectivity of our reporting. Additionally, we believe that it is appropriate to accept smaller donations that reflect the cost of traditional newspaper subscriptions.
Names of subscribers will be listed below unless they request to remain anonymous.
We remain dedicated to highlighting the accomplishments of our extraordinary youth, reporting Garland ISD Board of Trustees news and Garland City Council decisions, providing crime reports and information, Health Department inspection results, sports news, human interest stories and more.
Again, subscriptions are voluntary and the news will continue to be accessible at no charge to anyone with an interest in Garland.
Set up a one-time or monthly payment at PayPal.
Thanks for reading The Garland Texan.
