Two Garland ISD high schools’ girls’ soccer teams won bi-district titles and will advance to the area round of the playoffs. The Lady Eagles of Rowlett HS defeated Belton HS 2-1. Sachse’s Lady Mustangs won out over Copperas Cove HS 8-0.
The North Garland Raiders boys’ team defeated Waco Midway HS 5-0 and will advance to the area round. The Sachse Mustangs lost to Belton HS 3-2. Hillcrest HS defeated the South Garland Colonels 2-1 and Killeen Harker Heights outscored the Rowlett Eagles 3-2.
