The 2020 Garland ISD graduation venue has been changed – again. Because Globe Life Park is open-air and the weather forecast calls for high temperatures, the Texas Rangers organization has moved the ceremonies to the climate-controlled Globe Life Field for safety reasons.
The Rangers sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that the change might cause for the Garland ISD administration, staff, students and families.
Please note that graduation details are subject to change based on guidelines from local, state and federal authorities. We understand this ever-changing situation is challenging. Our focus is on celebrating our graduates with a meaningful event that honors their accomplishments in the safest way possible.

Tickets
All graduates will receive one ticket for themselves and five additional assigned-seat tickets for family. Everyone, including graduates, must have a ticket to enter Globe Life Field.
Graduate dress code
- Graduates must be in their caps and gowns with any regalia prior to the ceremony
- Students may not decorate their graduation caps
- No shorts
- Sunglasses are allowed, except for during photos
- Flat bottom shoes ONLY (no flip flops or high heels)
- Ties are not required
- No outside items or bags will be allowed. See below for prohibited items.
- We highly encourage everyone to wear cloth face coverings over the nose and mouth while inside the facility, except when photos are taken.
