NUSA recognizes Garland neighborhoods

On May 20, representatives from the city’s Planning & Community Development Department attended the annual Neighborhoods, USA Conference in Houston, where two Garland neighborhoods were recognized. Of the numerous submissions from neighborhoods across the country, the Camelot Neighborhood Association won First Place in the Neighborhood Newsletter Competition for their publicationThe Knightly News. The Shores of Wellington neighborhood was recognized as a top four finalist for Neighborhood of the Year Award. The Camelot Neighborhood Association was recognized during the June 2 City Council meeting. Shores of Wellington will be recognized in July.
