Operation Gratitude, a non-profit that sends 100,000 care packages to troops each year, partnered with First Choice Emergency Room to host a spring collection drive.
With help from the Garland community, First Choice E
mergency Room collected approximately 50,000 care package items and an overwhelming amount of hand written letters. The items collected will be sent to Operation Gratitude where they will be compiled into care packages and sent to troops overseas.
The success of this drive would not have been possible without the support and generosity of the local community.
