With the nationwide police excess force epidemic, it is reassuring to learn that you have a local officer who does it right.
Much of excessive force is due to poor training and poor attitudes. The officer of 38 years’ service reflects the old time “serve and protect” attitude where it is the highest honor to place one’s safety and life on the line in serving the public.
Please publicly extend our thanks to that officer. Everyone in policing should be very proud of him.
