Although school is out for summer break, Garland ISD will continue to provide support for its students. The district’s summer feeding program kicked off this week, providing breakfast and lunch Monday-Thursday at select campuses. A list of schools, dates and times can be found below. The program will continue through Aug. 18. All students must be accompanied by an adult.
GISD is not the only organization featuring a summer nutrition program. The city of Garland is also offering free meals Monday-Friday until Aug. 5 to children ages 1-18 and young adults with disabilities. See a list of serving sites on the city’s website.
Neither program requires registration. Students must visit during designated times and eat their meal on-site.
