Rhonda Way, of Garland has been recognized by OneAmerica® as an ASPIRE honoree as a result of her outstanding service on behalf of the Indianapolis-based life insurance, retirement and employee benefits provider.
Way was one of 10 employees to be honored at the company’s sixth annual ASPIRE awards banquet Feb. 19. The ASPIRE principles — Achievement, Stewardship, Partnership, Integrity, Responsiveness and Excellence—guide more than 2,200 OneAmerica associates in all work endeavors. This year, 203 individuals were nominated by peers, supervisors, or project partners for the annual honor.

Way, senior sales support, employee benefits, earned the top ASPIRE honor – Distinguished Achievement.
Way has worked in the Dallas, Texas, regional office for more than 22 years. Colleagues said she consistently executes with excellence for clients, brokers and potential sales recruits. Her dedication, responsiveness and willingness to take the lead on challenging assignments have earned her widespread trust and admiration.
“It was the most wonderful feeling to know people think so highly of my work,” said Way. “If there was a job that needed to be done, I’ve done it, whether it was a task for the home office, making sure the regional office in Texas runs smoothly or interacting with clients. A lifelong Garland resident, Way is a grandmother of three, with a fourth on the way. She is a graduate of Malakoff High School.
