COVID-19 vaccines, boosters available

You can get COVID-19 vaccines without an appointment at the Public Health Clinic, 206 Carver Drive, between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Garland Health Department is now providing boosters for the COVID-19 vaccine to those declared eligible by the Centers for Disease Control. Those considered moderately to severely immunocompromised are eligible to receive a third dose of Pfizer or Moderna. A third dose registration form and eligibility information are available at GarlandTX.gov.

Garland Public Health is partnering with Garland Independent School District and the NAACP to provide COVID-19 vaccines at their 2021 Health Fair and Back-to-School Rally from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, at Homer B. Johnson Stadium, 1209 E. Centerville Road. This drive-thru event is free and open to the public.
