Garland ISD will host a job fair Saturday, Aug. 27 from 9 a.m. to noon. The fair is at Gilbreath-Reed Career and Technical Center. All interested candidates can explore what GISD offers as the district will host both in-person and virtual meetings. The job fair is open to both prospective and current employees. The current focus is on bus drivers, teachers, librarians, instructional and office aides. Teachers do not have to be fully certified.

Attending the fair
GISD will be holding an in-person fair as well as giving applicants an opportunity to schedule a virtual meeting with campuses.
The in-person event will be at the GRCTC. Here are some helpful tips:
- Register for the event (please only register once). Note that principals may contact you after registration.
- Apply for a job ahead of time (see our Careers page for details).
- Bring your resume (and be sure it lists your certification area and status).
- Dress for success.

Virtual meetings
Unable to attend in person? Applicants will have the opportunity to meet campus administrators using a video conferencing platform instead at a time that works for you both.
Use each school’s Google Calendar link to set a date for the virtual meeting. Both you and the school staff will get an email confirming the meeting date and a Zoom link.
