Garland’s Keller-Williams Lake Cities (KW) real estate office will host a community service event in recognition of Keller-Williams’ RED Day (Renew, Energize, Donate) May 11, 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. The event will benefit two local nonprofits.
This year, the fun will be at Garland’s Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5076 located at 2180 Meridian Way. Beneficiaries are VFW Post 5076 and the New Liberty Baptist Church. The post needs building repairs and the church feeds homeless and low-income families Thursday evenings. Please come help KW Lake Cities raise funds to benefit both nonprofits.
The real estate office will raise money through a Dart Tournament and Pool Tournament during the event. The fee to enter each is $20. Be sure to bring a canned food item to get $5 off the fee for each tournament. Sign up begins at 4 p.m. on event day.
In addition, Foam Zone, the #1 Foam Entertainment event in America will be lots of fun for the kids. Simply bring an extra canned good to enter. Start times are 4 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 5 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Remember, bring as many cans of food that you can donate. If you can’t make it on event day, drop off canned food at Keller Williams Lake Cities, located in the Target Shopping Center at 5435 N. Garland Ave., #190A in Garland or at the VFW Post 5076 after noon at 2180 Meridian Way in Garland between now and May 11.
There will also be food trucks on-site.
