The high school varsity girls’ basketball top four teams were paired up for the bi-district round of the playoffs as follows:
The Sachse Mustangs took on Mesquite HS Tuesday, Feb. 13 and won by a final score of 49-38.
The Rowlett Eagles lost to Royse City HS Tuesday, Feb. 13 by a score of 49-10.
Wylie Eagles played Mesquite HS Tuesday, Feb. 13 and were defeated.
Wylie East Raiders played Rockwall HS Monday, Feb. 12 and were defeated.
Only Sachse HS remained as the only 9-6A girls’ team to move on to the area round. Their area game was Thursday, Feb. 15, and lost to Cedar Hill. The score was 48-45.
The boys’ basketball team played their final regular season game Tuesday, Feb. The results follow:
Lakeview Centennial Patriots 61 – Garland Owls 57
Wylie East Raiders 47 – Naaman Forest Rangers 43
Sachse Mustangs 76 – Rowlett Eagles 66
North Garland Raiders 68 – South Garland Titans 54
The boys’ playoff games begin this week.
Sachse Mustangs play Rockwall HS Mon., Feb. 19 at Lovejoy.
Wylie Eagles play Tyler Legacy HS at Mabank Monday, Feb. 19.
Wylie East Raiders play Rockwall Heath HS at Mesquite Poteet Tuesday, Feb. 20.
Naaman Forest Rangers play Mesquite Horn HS Tuesday, Feb. 20 at North Mesquite.
