Chris Burrow, Sachse High School’s baseball coach, was named All-District baseball coach for District 9-6A. The Mustangs’ varsity baseball team made it to the area round of playoffs this season even in a year that they had no field for six months due to renovations.
“The team did a great job of coming together this year in an adverse situation to compete with several quality opponents in the district. I am proud of them,” Burrow said.
He added that he is humbled and honored to be recognized as the district’s baseball coach of the year.
“There are a lot of good coaches in our district. I am fortunate to be able to coach against them in 9-6A,” he said.
