Jul. 30, 2024

No-cost back-to-school vaccinations are among the many services that will remain available at 206 Carver Street as responsibility for the former Garland Public Health Clinic transfers from the city to Dallas County Health and Human Services.

The facility will be closed Monday, July 29, as part of the transfer of services to Dallas County. The facility will be renamed the Garland Immunization Clinic when it reopens to the public on Tuesday, July 30.

The no-cost vaccines for children and adults enrolled in the Vaccines for Children (TVFC) and Adult Safety Net (ASN) programs are administered through the Texas Department of State Health Services. The Garland Independent School District 2024-25 school year starts Monday, Aug. 12.
