Looking for options to meet up with the Big Guy for photos this holiday season? Santa will be in Downtown Garland three times to make sure all the good little boys and girls are taken care of!
You can take pictures with Santa at Downtown Garland’s 2024 Small Business Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 30! Kick off your holiday shopping by checking in at the Visitor Center, where you can enjoy warm drinks, pick up a bag of holiday goodies and receive a special promotion from one of our local businesses! Explore Downtown and enjoy fun photo ops and a gift-wrapping station.
Of course, Santa has never, ever missed our Christmas on the Square celebration. Photos with Santa will be available while you celebrate the holidays at Downtown Garland Square’s tree lighting ceremony! The fun starts at 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, in the Downtown Square. The festive celebration also includes live music featuring Q The Band, live reindeer, a Christmas tree forest and a snow hill. While you’re taking in the sights and sounds, be sure to enjoy delicious treats from Downtown eateries and food vendors, explore artisan crafts, and experience the magic of Christmas lights and train rides for the little ones. Finally, you can capture that photo with Santa at the Sip N’ Stroll from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14. Mrs. Claus and the Grinch will also be available for photos during the family friendly event. This is a ticketed event. Learn more.
And remember while you’re Downtown to vote in our Holiday Storefront Contest, which runs Saturday, Nov. 30, through Wednesday, Dec. 18. Garland businesses are decorating with a “Colorful Christmas” theme, and you can vote either on Facebook @DowntownGarlandDistrict or by scanning QR codes posted in the Square.
