The Noon Exchange Club of Garland will host the 75th Labor Day Parade on Sept. 6. The fun starts at 9 a.m. when the parade begins at Glenbrook Drive and Avenue D. It will then go north to Main Street, then head east to Fifth Street. It will turn north on Fifth Street and end at Austin Street.
This year’s parade will feature bands, drill teams and cheerleaders from all the Garland ISD high schools as well as various other youth groups and organizations. There will also be scouts and clowns, public officials and more!
After the parade, don’t miss the Rock & Roll Car Show with antique and custom cars. The car show, which will be on the square in downtown Garland, starts at 11 a.m. and lasts until 2 p.m.
Also, there will be a Karaoke Contest in the Plaza Theater, with CASH prizes for winner, place and show contestants.
The Noon Exchange Club will have various booths with free items for everyone, face painting, balloons, city departments and street food vendors.
