Achievement Center of Texas will host its Spring into ACTion 5K! May 18 at 10 a.m. The event will be at Montgomery Park at 2905 Edgewood Drive in Garland. This is ACT’s first fundraiser since reopening, and the money raised will go toward a wheelchair accessible van, as well as more off-site community outings.
ACT hopes to bring the community together in support of different abilities in a fun way. Community members taking part in the event as participants or simply making a donation will help them move closer to the goal of $25,000. Participation or donations will impact the success of the event and the lives of those who benefit from the services and programs ACT provides.
