Achievement Center of Texas will host an Open House in celebration of North Texas Giving Day. The free event is open to the public and will be held on Thursday, September 19th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the center located at 2950 North Shiloh Road in Garland.
Supporters are encouraged to invite their family and friends to this fun event. There will be all sorts of entertainment including giveaways, snacks and more.
Students and staff will lead guided tours which will include a look at behind-the-scenes areas such as the sensory lab and life-skills training room. These exclusive tours will allow the opportunity for visitors to learn about some of the key features that set the center apart from similar organizations.
“We’re excited to be able to open our doors to our community to show them the direct impact their donations have on the students and our center.” “We want our supporters not only to give, but to see why they give also.” said Development Director Heather Bryant.

This allows for our students to grow and develop physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially. Donations that are
received during Fundraiser events like North Texas Giving Day help the center to fund those initiatives.
