Volleyball season recently ended for the fourth- sixth-grade girls at Alpha Charter School. They finished the season in the Texas Charter School academic Athletic League North Texas Division 1 with a 2-6 record overall and 2-2 in district play.
These two wins mark the first in the history of Alpha Charter Elementary School, also known as the junior campus.
“The Alpha Junior Volleyball team came together during the season and made us proud as coaches and brought pride to our school district,” Coach Greg Polk said. “We are looking forward to working with this group and building a foundation that we feel one day will evolve into a program that can compete for district championships.”
Volleyball team members are: Jayla Battie, Eriana Brown, Amaria Lockridge, Willow Matthews, Anazia Threadgill and Nariah Threadgill.
