Dog owners are invited to cool down and have fun with their furry friends at the 11th Dog-a-Poolooza Unleashed! This year’s event is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, at Holford Community Pool, 2322 Homestead Place. Cost is $5 per animal (rabies tag or certification required) and $1 per human.
Enjoy unleashed swimming and wade pools, pet services and supplies, rescue group adoptions, dog washes and nail trimmings. Garland Animal Services will provide low-cost vaccinations from 9 a.m. to noon. Vaccines and registration pricing below.

Door prizes also will be handed out during the event—purchase raffle tickets in advance at the Pet Adoption Center, 813 Main Street in Garland. Cost for raffle tickets is $5 each or $20 for five tickets.
