Atmos offers bill payment assistance

Jun. 1, 2020

Atmos Energy announced last week that, as of June 1, it will begin helping customers struggling to pay their bills because of illness, quarantine or work disruptions.

Payment Plans

They will set up an installment plan to spread out the payment of your outstanding balance over time and there will be no fee. To set up an installment plan, log in to your Account Center and select the Payment Assistance tab or call during business hours to set up a plan that works for you.

Financial Assistance

Additional federal assistance funds have been released due to COVID-19 through the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), in addition to Atmos Energy’s Sharing the Warmth program funds. Financial assistance is available on a first-come, first-served basis to eligible residential customers through local energy assistance agencies.

Click here to locate an agency near you or call 211.

(State low-income qualifications apply for LIHEAP funds. Eligibility for Sharing the Warmth funds are determined by your local agency)

Call or email Atmos Energy —  commercialpaymentplan@atmosenergy.com to discuss your business account and set up an installment plan that will spread out the payment of your balance over time. Again, there is no fee for this service.

The Atmos Energy Customer service telephone number is 888-286-6700.
