Firewheel Town Center hosted the fourth Taste of Firewheel Saturday, Sept. 29. The all-day food festival featured delicious light bites, refreshing beverages and free live music by DJ Craig from Groove Labs, in addition to prize giveaways, children’s entertainment, and of course, fabulous shopping.
The aromas of the various cuisines filled the streets and enticed guests to sample fares from more than 18 restaurants from Firewheel Town Center and the surrounding community. The winner of the “Best Taste” competition was Nothing Bundt Cakes with their tasty assorted bundtinis. The winner of the “Best of Firewheel” competition was Edible Arrangements with their sea salted and chocolate covered caramel apples alongside a fresh fruit smoothie.
Nothing Bundt Cakes also collected the most taste tabs thus winning the $500 Simon Giftcard for their chosen charity, Kidd’s Kids.
