Aug. 5 – Chaze Marie
Anybody who has ever seen Chaz Marie live knows she’s the real deal. Her voice is a fusion of her musical influences in country, blues, rhythm and blues and rock and roll. Not only does she deliver a powerhouse vocal performance, she is an entertainer at heart. Born in Mississippi, raised in Texas, she comes from a musical family and no doubt acquired her pipes by belting it out in church every Sunday.
Aug. 5 – Quinten Hope
Quinten studied at the University of North Texas School of Music. While there, Quinten performed with the famous UNT Lab Band and wrote compositions that are still performed. It was Quinten’s second CD (Start of a New Day) that led to a friendship with Rock-N-Roll Hall-of-Famer and Grammy winner Will Lee, along with Dan Wojciechowski and Bradley Knight. All three returned to record Quinten’s third CD (Reunion), which is his most personal to date.
Aug. 12 – Jason Elmore
Based out of Dallas, “Jason Elmore & Hoodoo Witch” is a high-energy trio that blends hard-hitting rock, jump/swing blues, vintage soul/rhythm and blues and traces of 60s country. Their sound maintains the essence of American roots music while offering a fresh take on its various genres and sounds. Elmore appeals to fans of any music with his virtuoso-level guitar playing, soulful old-school vocals and keen sense of songwriting.
Aug. 19 – Late April
Late April is a multi-instrumental, three-part harmony rocking country female trio from Dallas. Switching between instruments including fiddle, guitar, keys, upright bass, ukulele, bass and harmonica, Rachel Stacy, Lisa Underwood, and Dalene Richelle create an exciting show. The name comes from the fact that the girls all have birthdays in the last half of April.
