Fabian’s lifelong friend and schoolmate Alex Sullivan created this event. in coordination with Fabian’s father Rene Granado, a 32-year veteran Garland police officer. The goal is to raise urgent funds needed for Fabian’s medical care as he fights a critical health crisis due to the COVID-19 virus. Fabian’s future is unknown and includes the potential need of a lung transplant to save his life.

NBC-5 in Dallas/Fort Worth aired this story about Fabian: www.nbcdfw.com/news/coronavirus/27-year-old-garland-man-fighting-for-life-against-covid-19/2732658/

Fabian, who is temporarily in Jacksonville, Florida, enrolled in commercial diving/welding school, has been battling COVID-19 since Aug. 11, 2021. Even though he is far away from his family and support system, Fabian has been Herculianly strong and determined to get better. He has shown improvement; however, his lungs are his biggest threat.

The University of Florida Health Hospital has an amazing medical staff who refusegranado to give up on this young man. But the medical bills continue to rise. Hopefully, this benefit concert will help raise money for the growing expenses as well as money for future procedures.

Fabian has a heart for service. He is a longtime volunteer for the nonprofit organization Guns & Hoses, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing immediate assistance to the families of fallen police and firefighters lost in the line of duty. He also participated in Motorcops for Kids: www.motorcopsforkids.org/events.htm
