Breitling Performing Arts is dedicated to providing education and lessons in several forms of the arts to individuals ages 4-23. Classes include film and theater acting as well as dance, music, voice and piano and painting. Students who attend don’t just have fun. They learn speaking skills, gain confidence and create forever friendships.
Annie Breitling is the founder of and producer, director and writer for this nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Breitling became interested in theater in middle school and found a place where she fit in. She continued acting in school and won numerous acting awards including Best Actress at UIL competition. Her favorite roles include Millie in “Picnic” and Juliet in “Romeo and Juliet.”
From 2009-2010, Breitling taught acting classes at CERC in Rowlett. In 2010 she started Breitling Performing Arts. She has written three plays, co-written two plays and produced and directed over 45 productions. In the summer of 2014, Breitling wrote, produced and directed her first feature film, “Mom’s Not Home.” She performs in traveling plays in the summer and has done several commercials. Her love of children combined with her love of theater has created a balance that cannot be matched! It is very important to Annie that every child is given an opportunity and that every child finds the place where they fit in.
