Neighbors, planners and city officials met at 1002 Marion Drive Thursday, March 24, to celebrate the city’s first hospital and share visions for the site’s future.
Demolition on the building started March 22. But before it became history, the city held an event to share memories and to provide input on what they want to have happen to the property. Visit GarlandTX.gov to learn more about the event and the former hospital site.
The city continues to gather input from neighbors as it brings in a consultant to help with the process of redevelopment.
