Garland residents can receive a free tree to help save energy and beautify the community through the Tree Power Free Tree Program. The trees are provided by Garland Power & Light and the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department.
Registration: Oct. 3-28
Tree Pickup: Saturday, Nov. 5
Register for a free tree. (This link will be activated Oct. 3.)
At the registration site:
- Tree descriptions are provided.
- Select the tree you want. One tree per household.
- Must be a Garland resident. Residence will be verified.
A confirmation email will be sent to you after successful registration.
- Bring the email with you when picking up the tree.
- Pickup time window and location will be included.
- Trucks are recommended for easier tree loading.
