cityCall for artists for traffic signal Box Art Wrap Program

The city of Garland seeks artists for its new “Art at Every Turn” traffic box art wrap program. The program brings public art into everyday spaces by transforming traffic signal boxes into visually stunning artworks.

These boxes, often overlooked, are an opportunity to reflect Garland’s culture, creativity and uniqueness. The vinyl wraps will beautify roadsides and help deter vandalism and graffiti.

We are seeking local artists to design a series of three wraps for installation on approximately 25 to 30 traffic cabinets throughout Garland for phase one of “Art at Every Turn.” Applications are due Saturday, Nov. 30. Learn more.
