Additionally, the city’s Aquatics Department has been awarded the Platinum International Aquatic Safety which demonstrates that Garland’s aquatic facilities are exceedingly safe. These awards are based on random unannounced facility safety audits that include undercover video surveillance of lifeguards while they protect their zones. Individual and team life support and rescue skills are also evaluated, along with simulated emergencies to evaluate effectiveness of emergency action plans.
The aquatic facilities are available for private events like birthday parties, team parties, reunions and more. Call 972-205-2750 for prices and information or to make a pool reservation.
