BUT WHAT A GREAT GAME IT WAS FOR THE OWLS!

Duncanville High School has won the state title two times, in 2019 and 2021. This is their fourth straight trip to the state championship game.

The Owls’ head basketball coach, Randy Love, played football at Garland High School then graduated from the University of Houston in 1979. He then played in the NFL for the St. Louis Cardinals until 1985.

The coach told the Dallas Morning News that it was amazing to win 22 games in a row and to have his team play in the regional finals game.
