FEMA will host a Disaster Recovery Center Friday and Saturday, June 26-27, at Garland’s Carver Center at 232 Carver St. The DRC will be open from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Saturday.
At the DRC, residents affected by recent floods will be able to get information about disaster assistance programs. Representatives at the DRC will help answer questions and refer impacted residents to other assistance agencies. Other available services include:
- Status of applications already being processed by FEMA
- Clarification of any written correspondence received
- Housing Assistance and Rental Resource information
- Small Business Administration information
- Crisis Counseling Program
- Disaster Legal Services
- Disaster Unemployment
