District play begins with HS football week 4

Sep. 22, 2018

Rainy weather threatened this week’s games Thursday, Sept. 20 as well as Friday, Sept. 21. The Garland-South Garland and the Rowlett-Naaman Forest games were played Thursday night after an hour and 40-minute rain delay. The Sachse-Wylie and North Garland-Lakeview Centennial games that were originally scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday were played at noon in an effort to beat the forecasted rain. This was the first week of district play.
