April 28 – Matt Banks & Friends

A Garland native, Matthew Banks is a clarinetist, multi-instrumentalist and arranger. An active performer and teacher, he leads a jazz quartet and freelances on clarinet, saxophone, bassoon, oboe and flute. Banks’ Quartet regularly works at The Free Man Cajun Café, Revelers Hall, The Balcony Club and anywhere Jazz belongs. The group specializes in Jazz but plays everything from blues, to swing, to rhythm and blues and more. Matt Banks & Friends will bring their Jazz, Blues and Pop talent to set the right musical mood at 506 Art this summer!

May 26 – Wallace/Stacy

A professionally trained vocalist, Stacy is first and foremost a songwriter. Along with her infectious smile and electric onstage persona, her talents include playing guitar, violin and piano. Rachel’s sound is a combination of country, blues and Southern rock.

June 9 – Jesse Spradlin & The Vintage Yell

Jesse Spradlin and Chris Raspante come together to bring you The Vintage Yell, a newly formed band whose sound can be described as soulful Americana.

June 23 – Darren Wise Empiires

Darren Wise is a Dallas-based guitarist and is currently the music director for the Drew Pearson Live television show on ABC. This sports and entertainment prime-time NFL pregame show is based on the late-night talk show format with a live on-set band led by Wise.

July 7 – Jimmy Wallace

Legendary guitarist Jimmy Wallace brings his electrifying sounds of Rock and R&B to Downtown Garland.

July 21 – Chaz Marie

Anybody who has ever seen Chaz Marie live knows she’s the real deal. Her voice is a fusion of her musical influences in country, blues, rhytm and blues and rock and roll. Not only does she deliver a powerhouse vocal performance, she’s an entertainer at heart. She will have you grooving, moving and laughing in the same song. Born in Mississippi, raised in Texas, she comes from a very musical family.

July 21 – Quinten Hope

Quinten studied at the University of North Texas School of Music, which led to his first CD (Aspects of the Soul). While at the School of Music, Quinten performed with the famous UNT Lab Band and wrote compositions that are still performed. It was Quinten’s second CD (Start of a New Day) that led to a friendship with Rock-N-Roll Hall-of-Famer and Grammy winner Will Lee, along with Dan Wojciechowski and Bradley Knight. All three heavy hitters returned to record Quinten’s critically acclaimed third CD (Reunion), which is his most personal to date.
