GEF surprises staff with grants

Jan. 24, 2021

The Garland ISD Education Foundation (GEF) is starting the new year by surprising staff with cash. The Foundation is delivering more than $190,000 in grants and scholarships all week, helping educators make their dreams come true. GEF grant delivery teams are surprising teachers, support staff and administrators with inaugural Helping Hand grants, Tinsel & Trivia community organization-funded “Grant me Now” grants, traditional GEF grants, and continuing education scholarships.

Learn more about GEF, grant categories and more at gisdedfoundation.org. You can also find GEFphotos and videos of this week’s deliveries on GEF’s Twitter account: @GISD_Foundation.
