Christopher Guardado, Garland High School sophomore, passed away Christmas Day after he had been the victim of an accidental gunshot the evening of Dec. 19. He passed away in the Intensive Care Unit at Medical City Hospital.
The 16-year-old, who was also known as Choo, was passionate about football and was a varsity player for the Garland Owls. His mother, Jacola Beasley, told CBS11 News that he had been playing the sport since he was a young child and he loved the game.
