Get your incoming kindergarteners and 7th-graders ready for the 2021-22 school year! We are offering free vaccines to students who qualify. GISD offers free vaccines for those who:
- do not have insurance
- are underinsured
- have Medicaid
- are American Indian/Native American or Alaskan Natives

By law, the district must have an immunization record for each student on file. These records should be up-to-date at the time of registration. Records must show the month, day and year of each dose of vaccine and must be validated by a physician’s signature or a public health clinic card. Children entering Garland ISD for the first time must present written verification of the required immunizations at the time of enrollment.
Various immunization clinics are offered during the school year.
